Puerto Varas se encuentra a 929 kilómetros de Valparaíso. La duración del viaje en promedio es de 16 horas,en categoría semi cama, cama o premium dependiendo de la compañía de buses, las que atraviesan la Ruta 5 Sur que conecta ambas ciudades.
Sin embargo, para llegar a la localidad de Valparaíso se debe viajar desde Puerto Varas a Puerto Montt y de ahí hasta Temuco, luego tomar otro bus hasta Viña del Mar porque no existen servicios directos.

Puerto Varas is a city in the X Region of Los Lagos. The origin of this city dates back to the mid-nineteenth century where it was created from German colonization.
