Osorno is a city in the X Region of Los Lagos. It is the point of union towards San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina. This city is known for being one of the most green hectares in Chile. Among its attractions is the Chuyaca Park, which in its interior owns the Pleistocene Park of Osorno of sculptures of prehistoric animals of the area. Within its surroundings is Puyehue National Park on the shores of Lake Puyehue, which is characterized by spectacular forests and rivers with waterfalls.
